The Mock Side of the Moon is the third segment of the third episode in season 3 of Dexter's Laboratory. It first aired on January 18, 2002.

In this episode, Dexter travels to the moon to find an alien race having a meeting with their leader. He comes under the assumption that they're planning on attacking Earth and sets out to destroy them.

There is a scene that flashes red and purple lights when Dexter zaps the aliens.
When Dexter uses his translator on the leader alien, its' voice sounds very similar to the Looney Tunes character Marvin the Martian.
