The Koos is Loose is the second segment of the fourth episode in season two of Dexter's Laboratory. It first aired on August 6, 1997.
In this episode, Dee Dee leaves her imaginary friend Koosy in Dexter's care while she goes to a mandatory ballet class. After a while, Koosy's antics annoy Dexter to no end and he sends him away.
Plot[]
While Dexter is in laboratory typing on a keyboard when suddenly, a bright light enters his and a cloud knocks him out of his chair. Dee Dee enters, mistaking Dexter's screaming for a baby, looking for her imaginary friend Koosy. Dexter, after running several tests to see if the "Koosalagoopagoop" exists, finds nothing. Unable to disprove Dee Dee's claims, Koosy suddenly appears and Dee Dee introduces him to Dexcter. After the introduction, Dexter orders Dee Dee to make Koosy leave, but he can't because he's too big to fit through the laboratory doors.
Suddenly, Dee Dee realizes that she's late for her dance class and runs out, leaving Dexter alone with Koosy for a while. Koosy quickly annoys Dexter by turning his lips inside out and forcing him to eat a pappywrap. Angered, Dexter puts Koosy in Monkey's cage, and not long after doing so, Koosy starts to laugh uncontrollably at Monkey turning his lips inside out. Dexter forces Koosy out of Monkey's cage and goes inside him to find out what makes Koosy tick. While doing so, Dexter gets stuck, and Koosy helps him out by inflating his body and causing Dexter to exit via his tail.
Dee Dee returns from her dance class and Dexter orders her to get Koosy out of his life. She suggests to Dexter that he should imagine Koosy away. Just after Dexter did so, he immediately regrets his decision and jumps into Koosy's arms crying. After giving him a hug, Koosy disappears and Dee Dee runs out of Dexter's lab crying, wanting Koosy back.
