Sassy Come Home is the first segment of the thirteenth episode in season 2 of Dexter's Laboratory. It first aired on October 8, 1997.

In this episode, Dee Dee befriends Sasquatch, which she names "Sassy", since they both have big feet. They also have to fight with Dexter as he is determined to capture the behemoth.

Plot[]

Dexter's family goes out on a camping trip, which is nothing out of the ordinary for the boy genius. However, he soon catches wind of the mythical Sasquatch and makes haste to find and capture this beast to present to the scientific community.

Meanwhile, Dee Dee's feet grow sore from hiking and she decides to take off her boots. However, the sight of her unusually large feet brings Sasquatch out into the open, and they befriend each other instantly. Dee Dee abandons her boots and goes on a barefoot romp with her new pal through the forest, which makes Dexter suspect the presence of a baby Sasquatch at the sight of her footprints, until his sister flaunts her bare feet by wiggling her toes at him and makes him wisen up. Dexter tries to capture Sasquatch with a robot bear and gets scolded by Smokem the Bear for setting fire to a tree. Eventually, Dee Dee has to part ways with Sasquatch and end her barefoot adventure. The two say their goodbyes and the episode ends with a nod to classic wildfire awareness.
