Monstrosi-Dee Dee is the second segment of the third episode in season 4 of Dexter's Laboratory. It first aired on May 2, 2003.

In this episode, Dee Dee eats one of Dexter's apples that is part of Dexter's research project, causing her to turn into a monster. To protect Dexter, she gives him advice on where to hide, although Dexter himself is unaware that Dee Dee herself is the monster.

Plot[]

Dexter carries nuclear waste to a box of apples and dumps it on them, causing an apple to grow to immense size. In happiness, Dexter jumps out of his nuclear suit and declares the experiment a success. Suddenly, the apple shrinks back down to normal size, forcing Dexter to throw the box of apples out a window.

Dee Dee appears and Dexter orders her to leave his lab, to which she does. Dee Dee eats an apple and transforms into a monster. Dexter returns on the conveyor belt and notices the now-monstrous Dee Dee towering over him. In fear, Dexter runs away while Dee Dee chases after him, causing destruction in the lab.

Dexter runs into a corridor and Dee Dee reverts back to her normal self. Happy to see her, Dexter tells Dee Dee about the monster he saw and asks her to hide with him, to which she agrees to. Dee Dee has Dexter hide inside a glass tube, and Dee Dee suddenly transforms into her monster form. At a stack of drawers, Dee Dee, in normal form, puts Dexter in the top drawer. She again turns into a monster, prompting Dexter to run off screaming.

Dee Dee then takes Dexter to various places to hide in the lab then coats him with invisible spray. In monster form, Dee Dee licks Dexter, revealing half of him. At the particle accelerator, Dee Dee throws Dexter inside and it starts up, sending Dexter on a ride. He orders Dee Dee to turn the particle accelerator off, and Dee Dee tries to do so, but she turns into her monster form and gets caught in the particle accelerator.

Dexter then runs to hide in a flask contained with nuclear cooling rods, and he immediately swims out after realizing where he was. Inside a glass cage, Dee Dee pushes Dexter through a picket fence. He turns around to see Monster Dee Dee then runs out screaming. Inside a robot's nose, Dexter believes that the monster ate Dee Dee and runs to tell Mom and Dad, to which Dad laughs. He and Mom ensure that Dexter will be safe with them around. Dexter is grateful for his parents as they eat the nuclear-laced apples.
