The three main characters from left-to-right: Major Glory, The Infraggable Krunk, and Valhallen.

The Justice Friends are a group of superheroes who exist in the universe of Dexter's Laboratory who, aside from their eternal struggle against evil, must also learn to live together under one roof to face the challenges of everyday life. They are the main characters of the back-up segments of Dexter's Laboratory.

Description[]

Main Characters[]

  • Major Glory (Rob Paulsen): Major Glory is the self-appointed leader of the Justice Friends. He is a semi-effective, caped American hero given to over-dramatic, patriotic dialogue, glory-hogging and obsessive-compulsive behavior, such as having things done perfectly and trying to do some things his own way, which often leads to disaster due to his allies' more easygoing personalities. Major Glory's overall love for publicity and the paparazzi can often present more harm than good. His overall American theme is a parody of Captain America, whereas his other powers are a parody of Superman. In the Justice Friends segment "Can't Nap", Major Glory was shown to be allergic to cats, as Valhallen invited White Tiger to spend a night with the team at Muscular Arms.
  • Valhallen (Tom Kenny): Valhallen is the guitar-wielding viking God of Rock with surfer dude mannerisms. In the segment "Valhallen's Room", it was shown that the Ax is Valhallen's divine source of power. As a result of not being able to find it, Valhallen was reduced to a mere nerd. Simiarly to a surfer, Valhallen uses his Ax to travel quickly. Outside of fighting crime, Valhallen acts as the voice of reason when advising Major Glory not to do something dangerous, which often causes the two to clash with each other over personal matters. While his name is a parody of musician Eddie Van Halen as well as the Nordic Heaven Valhalla, Valhallen's overall powers are a parody of Thor.
  • The Infraggable Krunk (Frank Welker): The Infraggable Krunk, also simply known as "Krunk", is the muscular, oversized man who has the behaviorisms of a child, which often leads to trouble for both Major Glory and Valhallen. He is a huge fan of T.V. Puppet Pals. Despite his childlike demeanor, Krunk's heart is in the right place. Krunk is a parody of both The Thing, due to his incredible size, and The Hulk, due to his destructive power as well as having purple skin and wears green pants.

Other Appearances[]

  • Members of the Justice Friends have also appeared in The Powerpuff Girls episode "Members Only", however both shows take place in different continuities and the members seen there could be considered alternate versions of the ones seen in Dexter's Laboratory.
    • There are several differences seen between the Justice Friends members seen in PPG and Dexter's Lab. For starters, rather than being members of the Justice Friends, they are instead part of the Association of World Super Men (A.W.S.M.) and are a men-only club, despite that Miss Spell is a member of the Justice Friends in Dexter's Lab. Krunk is also absent from AWSM (mostly cause Buttercup said he was too stupid) while Comrade Red is considered a member despite being a villain in Dexter's Lab.
  • The Justice Friends are considered a spoof or a parody of DC Comics' Justice League and Super Friends, and Marvel Comics' Avengers during their respective primes.
