Topped Off is the first segment of the 22nd episode in season 2 of Dexter's Laboratory. It first aired January 14, 1998.
In this episode, Dexter and Dee Dee watch their parents drink coffee and how it energizes them in the morning. Suddenly, they decide to try it themselves and become addicted to it. Eventually, they drink too much coffee and run out of it.
Plot[]
Dad and Mom enter the kitchen while Dexter and Dee Dee are ready for their breakfast. The children say hello to their parents, and Mom and Dad respond by giving their kids ugly-looking faces. Mom and Dad brew coffee, and are perked for the day. After the parents leave the kitchen, Dexter and Dee Dee stare at the cup of coffee sitting on the counter all day. At night, they drink the coffee and experience hyperactivity.
After the coffee is all gone, Dad and Mom are devastated that their children drank all the coffee. However, a man named Juan covers the parents in their coffee withdrawal, and the parents enjoy their cups of joe.

- Juan is a reference to Juan Valdez, a fictional character which is a symbolism of Colombian coffee.

- In consistent sequences between Dexter in the lab,Dee Dee in her room playing,and both of them drinking coffee, a hip hop beat was made.

- Although "Topped Off", "Dee Dee's Tail" and "No Power Trip" aired on 1998, they were actually made in 1997 according to the credits.
