Average Joe is the third segment of the 25th episode in season 2 of Dexter's Laboratory. It first aired on February 4, 1998.
In this episode, Dexter, after receiving his results of an intelligence test, decides to live a normal life after his results mistakenly come back as "average".

- Chris's snicker is similar to Beavis, a character from Beavis and Butt-Head.
- Old Man McCowsky thinks Dexter is a pig in his baby romper, and as he picks up Dexter, he starts squealing like a pig, similarly to the 1972 film Deliverance.
