A Third Dad Cartoon is the second segment of the tenth episode in season 3 of Dexter's Laboratory. It first aired on June 21, 2002.

In this episode, Dexter and Dee Dee watch Dad play golf.

Plot

Dad goes out golfing and takes the kids with him. He prepares to hit the ball with a good swing, but just as he's about to hit the golf ball, a huge thunderstorm moves in. Dad then decides to call it a day and takes the kids home.

• This episode is a reference to the Sports Cartoons animated shorts from 1985, aired on Nickelodeon in the late 1980s to the mid-1990s and on Cartoon Network in the late 1990s to the early 2000s (as part of their "Small World" programming block), in which characters would often take a very long time before making a move on such a sport.
